Hi, my name is Lily. Our family has been settled on the Kentish coast for a few years now, and I am a wife and mother of two beautiful children. We also have a four-legged friend – a chocolate Labrador. I’m a craniosacral therapist and have my practice running in Whitfield, where I reside. I love traveling, exploring, and long contemplative walks. For me, being in nature is where I can centre and recharge.

Being a mom, I’m blessed to learn and understand many aspects of life on a deeper level. One of my children has profound special needs, and having him has probably been the root of my biggest transformation. My wish for him to get better has driven me to learn. I have volunteered at Whitfield School of Special Needs, where I gained valuable insights into a wide spectrum of disabilities, which also gifted me with natural confidence. Our family is fortunate to receive help from the school, a respite family, and a devoted carer. This wonderful feeling of gratitude and appreciation is so deep for me that it sparked a dream – one day I would like to be a part of an environment where parents and carers of children with special needs are supported and truly taken care of. Somewhere they can switch off from the demands of everyday life and perhaps rediscover themselves.

Recently, I embarked on a journey of sound therapy, and it has been a wonderful experience learning about sound and how it can affect us on all levels – physical, emotional, and spiritual. Taking this path also allowed me to learn a lot about myself and accelerated my personal growth. The magic and healing potential of sound have become evident to me.

I practice from my home in Whitfield, but for your convenience, I can come to your house where you can be in your environment and relax more. Babies, small children, and those with special needs can particularly benefit from a home visit.

While being gentle, Craniosacral Therapy can be very effective and powerful. I have worked with clients who suffer from cancer, tinnitus, TMJ syndrome, headaches, panic attacks, depression, anxiety, and grief. I love working with babies, and I have supported premature newborns in a neonatal intensive care unit.

​

During Sound Therapy, I use Himalayan singing bowls, crystal singing bowls, gongs, drums, and various therapeutic percussion instruments such as chimes, bells, and rainsticks. I combine and carefully select playing techniques to create a space where a client can feel held within. A session can be simply relaxing or focused on self-reflection processes. Sound therapy helps calm busy minds, addresses sleep issues, pain, emotional issues, and stress management.

I'm currently focused on group sound therapy work, but at the same time, I'm deepening my knowledge and will begin exploring this beautiful work on a one-on-one basis, where sessions will be carefully designed to meet the individual needs of the client. During these sessions, some instruments might be placed on the body to enhance the power of sound even more. For example, a drum massage can release physical tension and pain while also providing relaxation for the mind.
